Dad of 2 daughters – Odette and Marta – I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University “La Sapienza” in Rome. From 1970 to 1973 I studied Paediatrics in New York in one of the most prestigious institutions of the city – the Albert Einstein College of Medicine – achieving in America the “Board of Paediatrics”, or the specialization diploma in Paediatrics.
From 1973 to 1976 I conducted research in the field of paediatric gastroenterology with Dr. Murray Davidson, also in the same University. In 1975 I was elected “Fellow of the American Academy of Paediatrics“, a title given to paediatricians who demonstrate special merits in the field of health protection and psychological well-being of children.
I mainly deal with gastroesophageal reflux and recurrent respiratory infections (ear infections, bronchitis) and have a holistic, all-round view of the health of children and families.
